This policy explains what personal information Devhelp PK SMC Pvt Ltd (“devhelp”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use devhelp shop, what we use it for, who we share it with and what you can ask us to do with it.

devhelp shop includes this website (devhelp.pk), the merchant dashboard, and the online stores that merchants run on devhelp, whether on a devhelp.store address or their own domain.

1.Who this policy covers

Visitors to devhelp.pk.
People who apply for early access or send us a message.
Merchants and their team members who hold a devhelp account.
Shoppers who browse or buy from a store that runs on devhelp. The merchant who runs that store is responsible for how your information is used; see “Information about shoppers” below.

2.Information we collect

Information you give us:

Contact details such as your name, email address and phone number, and anything you tell us about your brand or business when you apply for early access or contact us.
Account details: your name, email address and password. We store only a scrambled form of your password (a hash), never the password itself. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google.
Business and setup details you provide while setting up a store, such as your business name, type and contact information. If you choose to give us identity or registration details (for example a CNIC, NTN or company registration number) so we can help you set up services that need them, we store them encrypted and use them only for that purpose.
Your store content: products, prices, images, pages, settings and anything else you add to your store.
Keys you add to connect other services, such as your payment provider keys. We store these encrypted.
Messages and support requests you send us.

Information collected automatically:

Technical and log information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and the time of each request. We use it to keep the service running and secure, and to find and fix problems.
Essential cookies that keep you signed in and protect forms from abuse. See “Cookies” below.

When a shopper pays by card, they type the card number into fields run by the payment provider, not by devhelp. devhelp does not receive or store full card numbers.

3.How we use information

To provide devhelp shop: create and manage accounts, host stores, process orders on merchants’ behalf and review stores before they launch.
To send you messages: verification codes, sign-in links, team invitations, our decision on whether your store can go live, data exports, billing notices and replies to your messages.
To handle early-access applications and enquiries about our services.
To keep the service secure: detect and prevent fraud, spam, abuse and unauthorised access.
To understand how the service is used and improve it, looking at combined figures rather than individual people where we can.
To meet legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from authorities.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use shoppers’ information to advertise our own services to them.

4.Information about shoppers

When you shop at a store that runs on devhelp, the merchant, not devhelp, runs that store. The merchant decides what information the store collects and how it is used. We process that information on the merchant’s behalf so the store can work. It can include, for example, your name, phone number, email, delivery address, order details, reviews, messages and any back-in-stock or newsletter sign-ups.

If you have a question about your order or your information, contact the store directly. If you contact us instead, we will pass your request to the merchant where we can.

Merchants are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and use their shoppers’ information and for telling shoppers how they use it.

6.Where information is stored

devhelp shop is hosted on servers outside Pakistan, currently in Singapore, and some of our service providers process information in other countries. We choose providers that use suitable security measures to protect it.

7.How long we keep information

We keep account and store information for as long as your account is active. Orders and related records are kept as part of a store’s history so merchants can meet their own record-keeping duties.

When an account or store is closed, or when you ask us to delete information, we delete or anonymise it unless we need to keep it to meet legal, tax or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or enforce our terms.

We keep early-access applications and messages for as long as we need them to reply to you and run the early-access programme, and we delete them if you ask.

8.How we protect information

We encrypt information while it is sent over the internet, and we encrypt sensitive credentials and identity details when we store them. Only the people who need access get it, and we keep a log of staff access to stores. No system is completely secure, so we cannot promise that your information will never be accessed without permission. We work to protect it, and where the law requires it we will tell affected users about a breach.

9.Your choices

You can view and update your account details from the dashboard.
Merchants can export their store’s data from the dashboard at any time.
You can ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct or delete it, by emailing admin@devhelp.pk. We will reply within 30 days.
If we send you news about devhelp shop, you can unsubscribe from those emails at any time. Service emails about your account cannot be switched off while the account is open.

Shoppers should send requests about their information to the store they bought from.

10.Cookies

devhelp.pk and the dashboard use only cookies that the service needs: to keep you signed in, to remember basic preferences and to protect forms and pages from bots and abuse (including Cloudflare’s security cookies). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies on devhelp.pk.

A store may also use cookies or scripts added by its merchant. The merchant is responsible for explaining those in the store’s own policies.

11.Children

devhelp shop is a service for businesses. Merchant accounts are for people aged 18 or over, and we do not knowingly collect information from children for our own purposes.

12.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. We will change the date at the top when we do, and we will tell merchants about significant changes by email or in the dashboard before they take effect.
